The Meijer paper product Catalina is back and it’s ‘rolling’ this time. I was over at Meijer this morning and did 6 transactions that all looked like this:

Note that you do not have to use the OYNO on Meijer brand items, it can be on any Bath Tissue, Paper Towel or Napkin purchase. There doesn’t seem to be a minimum $/amount purchase on this Catalina so there will be tons of great deals!

Thanks Jen for the update. Not sure if it has been posted before … if it has sorry for the repeat. For those of you just joining hope it helps. Be careful of the paper manufacture coupons and the mperks manufacture coupons. I have had times where I have a paper manufacture coupon for say 50 cents that would be doubled but I also had an mperks manufacture for the same item for say 75 cents off. Because I use my mperks for every single order because they do track what you buy and thats how you receive your Just for your mperks… I got the 75 cents off and not the dollar off I would have received so I lost 25 cents. That 25 cents wasn’t a huge deal but over time if you lose 25 cents everytime you shop. Say once a week times 52 weeks in a year. It does add up. Yesterday my super buy was for Dove Body wash. Normally 6.19 a bottle. But was on price drop for 5 bucks, 2 dollar meijer coupon in the weekly add plus I had a 1 dollar off manufacture. So my body wash cost me 2 bucks.
i havnt actually looked at one of my reciepts but do you think that if you have a manufactuer clipped in the mperks and a manufacturer that you used the paper coupon and it goes through first,then enter the mperks at the end it would take off the paper coupon and be replaced by mperks? im wondering if i should take off any in meperks that i dont want done,so i can use paper ones that actually double
I’ve notice that it doesn’t matter what order you apply the mperk — it always cancels out a paper coupon so I don’t even bother clipping the mperk if I have a paper coupon that will double to a higher value.

I agree, Do you think it is a way for Meijer not to double our coupons.
I was in the Monroe Michigan Meijer today and wanted to buy 12 of the paper towels, I checked out 4 and got the catalina, used it on the next 4 but did not get another $4.00 catalina. When I asked the clerk about it I was told that you only get it once and the Meijer was not in the business of giving product away.

I take off mperks that would mess up my paper coupons. Then I realized I should only clip mperks that are at least $1 because they usually wouldn’t mess up my paper coupons because they don’t double.
Have used a mperk coupon with a paper coupon and it took both??
On the last go around or two the catalina was able to be used on non-paper products even though it stated to be used on paper products.

I was at the Meijer in the West burbs of Chicago today.
I bought three paper towels but they DID NOT roll. Maybe it works on 2 but not 3+?
Anyway, I found out there is a Bounty Dura Meijer store catalina. A two pack was 3.49 with 3.00 back.
It didn’t roll either
However, I was able to use the Meijer paper towel coupon to pay for the Bounty. So you can do alternating transactions.
Maybe I’m missing something, but if the deal is as posted, why would you buy paper towel in quantities of 2? Why not 4? The price per roll should be identical, and you can cut your transactions in half. Seems like a no brainer to me. Deal would look like,
Buy 4 rolls at 1.29 each = 5.16
-$4.00 coupon = $1.16
+6% tax = 1.23 = $0.31 per roll.
The only possible downside is that you have to pay to sink the extra $2 in to the initial purchase, but you can use the final catalina on something that you need that isn’t part of the deal to make it take the blunt of the blow away.
I believe Jen’s purpose of breaking down the transactions WAS to limit the intial out of pocket cost.
While you can use the Catalina for a puchase outside of the Meijer brand paper products- it still needs to be paper.
I did the least quantity to trigger the Catalina coupon just to test the deal printing and rolling. You can do 4 and have a little higher out of pocket cost but get stocked-up much quicker. This was the first day of the Catalina so I wan’t really sure it would work and didn’t want to end up at customer service returning paper towel! You are correct that you are only paying tax on the after OYNO coupons price on all transactions after the initial one.
I’m not really understanding this Catalina. The picture says meijer brand, but it doesn’t have to be meijer brand? Would thinks such as paper plates be included? I have some free meijer money this week from pharmacy coupons, so I’m going to be all over this! Just want to figure out the rules.

This did not roll for me this morning when buying 4 rolls. Cat machine was working because it printed other coupons after the second transaction, but no paper products oyno. Might try again later.
Mine didnt roll with 4 napkins this morning, however it did roll for 4 paper towel so I stuck with that and stocked up thank you.

Bought 4 single rolls earlier today and received the $4 oyno Catalina. Went back this evening and purchased the same 4 items,but didn’t get the $4 oyno Catalina…didn’t use any coupons or Catalinas to pay, only used cash.
I hope you went straight to customer service.

Mine didn’t roll yesterday with 4 paper towels, I will be going to customer service later today.
I tried 4 today in Ohio, did not roll for me. Tried the customer service desk and was told that it states ‘limit 1 coupon per order’ meaning another will not print when its used.
I did the scenario where I bought a two pack of the bounty dura towels for 3.79 got back the 3 cat and then bought 4 meijer towels using the 3 cat and got back a 4 cat. You could do this multiple times, then you would not have to worry about the catalinas rolling.
This is what I did to eliminate trying to roll cat
Buy one Bounty Dura 2 pk 3.79
get back 3 oyno
buy 4 meijer paper towels
use 3 oyno and get 4 oyno

I did the deal with the Bounty towels and then 4 single rolls of the Meijer brand. Both Catalinas printed off with no trouble. I’ll definitely be going back tomorrow!
It is a weekly sale price so depending on when your sale started, it will end this Saturday or next Wednesday.
If you wanted to just do a single transaction and bought one bounty Dura 2 pk & 3 single rolls of meijer paper towels will it give you the bounty $3 onyo and meijer paper products $3 onyo?
Yes it will, these are two different promotions so you will get both.
